After a break Joanna’s come back with classes for our younger students, this time in two age groups!

JUNIORS (class for 11-14 years old kids) on Sundays 12:00 – 13:30

TEENS (class for 15-18 years old kids) on Wednesdays 16:30 – 18:00

Goal of the course is to cultivate passion to drawing and work on skills. We will practice fundamentals of drawing, like proportions, composition, shadows, geometry etc. With time kids will be incouraged to pick more advanced exercises, with more attention to details and contrast.

At each class kids will get tutorial to follow and guide them in their own pace. Tutorials can be collected and serve as exercise booklet in the future.

Tutorials allow us also to accomodate kids with experience and strong passion to drawing, but also those that just would like to give it a try. After many years of practice and teaching I can see that this method truly opens up the potential of every kid and let them enjoy the process in their own way. Thanks to the small group size I can assure that everyone will get attention and help they would ask for.

Classes will be conducted in Norwegian and English (as much as I want to stick to Norwegian, sometimes English slips in 😇).

In case we don’t reach 5 kids per group, classes might be dismissed (and you’ll of course get full refund).

Materials required for the class

• Drawing paper in A4 size: grammature between 120 – 180 g/m2
• Pencils: H2, HB, B2, B4 (or more 😉)
• Pencil sharpener, eraser
• Portfolio for drawings and tutorials

All materials can be purchased at the art club.

Christmas Workshops will be available for other club members as well (tickets soon will be available on website).
